Hola and Hello!
I am Alexiss; the creator, videographer, and cook of Salsita Linda.
For as long as I can remember, I have always loved eating and cooking. From a young age I associated the two with being happy, connecting with others, exploring new flavors, and a way to connect with my heritage.
Growing up in a Mexican home, I have learned to respect and embrace the deep culinary roots of Mexican cuisine. The early emphasis of good, handmade food truly shaped, molded, and ignited my love of Mexican cooking. This is how I discovered that cooking is not only about preparing food to eat on a daily basis, but an important art and representation of Mexican identity and culture. Every dish I create represents who I am and tells the story of where I’ve been. All the flavors, textures, and colors tell you something personal.
I created Salsita Linda so I can share my love and knowledge of Mexican food and culture with everyone and anyone who loves good food and loves to eat!
